Logon on WinXP with Local Admin Account, in network properties change workgroup to domain. Here you must type your domain name, use create computer account in domain, give necessary information about Domain Admin account (name and password), restartcomputer. Use a domain account to see if you are logon to domain.
Others issues:
-Be sure that this computer name is unique in your domain.
-domain account used, must have logon rights for this computer.
-network must be configured correct.
