Login/Logout logging

By Bullitt00692 ·
Is there a tool or way to log the login and logout time on a NT 4 network excluding the built in logging utility?

Thanks

Login/Logout logging

i haven't seen any tools for this but i did jerry rig a small vb6 program that updated a database when it was run and put that in the startup folder minimized.......

it gave me log on times....
log off times i didn't need so i haven't even thought about that.

maybe you could write it as a services which updates the database for the tim it was atually running and its start time to calculate the end time....

just a few ideas

cheers

the built in logging service works just fine with the right filters in place to suit your needs but if you want third party software I have seen shareware sometime ago that was called "timeclock" does just what you want. You might search for other shareware on the net..
