Login Problem

By joxerver ·
I have installed Win NT4 Server on my home office network. When I try to login as a user that I created I get the following message:

"The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon interactively"

I went into System Policy Editor to try to reslove the problem but I am not quite sure which option to select. I can gain entry to the server thru the admin. accounts. Please help.

You don't need to use policy editor. This function is handled with User Managaer for Domains/ Policy / Users Rights Policy. Scroll down to "Logon on locally". If your user ID is not listed here had it. This will correct your error. You need to logon as the Administrator to set this :-)
