Login Script

By Martin Powell ·
Hi,

I have users connecting to a Citrix Win2K server using the local user accounts credentials to the server (i.e. No domain accounts).

How can I get a script to run for these users as they log in? I have read previous answers for this topic that state that the scripts should be put in the Sysvol\{domain}\scripts directory, but this doesn't exist, neither does the NT \repl\import directory.

Is there a default directory for these scripts, or should I point to a different UNC path or share?

Hi,

1, Try to put your script or a shortcut to your script into the following directory:
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"

2, Make sure that the users have right to run the script from the location where you put it.

Hello,

Try this out:
Place a shortcut into this folder if you are using w2k:
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"

Place a shortcut into this folder if you are using Win Nt:
"C:\Winnt\profiles\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"

Make sure that the users have right to run the script.
