Login Script Issues

By jeff ·
I have a login.vbs script that maps drives/printers/sets the time.

I have an nt4.0 network with XPpro Clients.
and I've found out that:

Power on; immediate login: Script Doesn't run
Power on; Wait 30 seconds: Script runs
logoff; login: Script runs

Is there a workaround that doesn't require user action?

Have you tried activating the "Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon" policy? (Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Logon)

This will cause explorer shell to wait until the logon scripts have been processed before loading.

Hope this helps.

Worked like a Charm... did add timed to the startup (but that was expected)
