msgbox "helo"
the above will display a popup box with the words "helo" and have a button to dismiss the popup. You put the above line in any file that has a .vbs extension and you tell Windows to use this as the logon script and you have this result.

Below is a typical Login script using a .bat file and assigning to a user.
