Loging onto multiple Domains

By Sprocket ·
I need to set up a laptop to logon to different domains.
The laptop will sometimes need to logon to one domain, but then when it is at a different company, be able to log onto an other domain.

How is this done. On the log on screen, you can select whether you log onto a domain or the workstation, but how do you add a second domain to the list?

Use the join domain wizard after logging on locally.

You will need the apropriate rights at both domain sites.

If the domains were in the same company then you would need to set up trust relationships so that you can see additional domains in the list.

Since its in a different domain, you have to remove laptop from old domain and join the new domain and repeat each time you switch domains.

You could have a dual Windows setup so that each setup is for different domains or have more than one laptop....
