Logitech iTouch Cordless Keyboard

By deblemminger ·
When I type a character - lets say an "b" - it will automatically enter mulitple characters. If I press "backspace" then it moves to the next line or entry location. Any ideas as to what is happening???

The receiver has been in the same place for years. I actually put new batteries in (just in case) and re-set it. And, I moved the receiver out of it's location and put it right next to they keyboard.

Old keyboard

Your comment that the receiver has been there for many years indicates that the keyboard is quite old.

What ma y be happening is that the contacts in the keyboard have become noisy and are generating multiple outputs. I've had this with a wired keyboard.

Try another keyboard, wired or wireless, to check this.
