Logoff published applications – Citrix

We have published some applications in our Citrix MetaFrame XP server farm (on W2000 servers). Some clients needs to access these in an ICA Passtrough session. They access their Desktop by accessing the TS, and on this desktop the published applications are accessed in seamless windows. All works fine until the user wants to quit and log off. The problem is that there still are an open connection from the desktop to the application server, which doesnt come down until you access the “ICA Connection Centre” and log off the connection manually. If the user doesnt know this, he/she is unable to logoff from their desktop. Any tips?

On each TS/Citrix server go to the Terminal Server Configuration – RDP-tcp Properties -Sessions and make a tick for the Override user settings.
Change the End a disconnected session from to e.g. 5 Min.
The same changes for ICA-tcp setting.

This didnt help, probably because the passtrough session is not disconnected, it is held in an Active state even when the published app is closed.
