How do I find out users logon and logout time/date from W2K server?

you'll have to edit the local group policy (if it's a member server) or a domain policy (if it's a domain controller) to enable auditing.

you can find it under Computer configuration-->Windows Settings-->Security Settings-->Local Policy-->Audit Policy.

you'll want to audit successful logon/logoff events.

after you enable auditing, you can check the logon/logoff times in the event viewer, Security Log.

+++ How can I check the users logon and logoff time/date if I logon to the w2k pro machine as an admin. Is this info somewhere in the registry?
