there’s some errors occur in one of my win server 2000 user while accessing “Logon failure:the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.”,so kindly help me out to find the solution.

As I remember this is an error that shows you that the computer account – the one in the AD > Computers – have a mismatched SID. Try joining the computer again to your domain – this should solve your problem. (Before doing that delete it from AD > Computers).

in addition to that which was said in the first answer, in AD, an individual user account can be configured to allow that user to only log on to a particular computer.

another maybe be that if the computer is W2K, there’s two ways to log on, the domain and locally. If the user is allow log on locally but not domain and tries to log on to the domain, you’ll get that error message. same is true the other way around.
