I have windows 2000 domain server. There are 15/16 clients of win. 98 & win XP.A win XP client which is in a workgroup can access all users but any client and server is unable to access that. when i want to access it on server it displays "logon failure: account currently disabled" but i checked logon account is not disabled. I can't understand whats a problem?

You will have to create local accounts and assign rights for the workgroup XP system. Domain members cannot pass rights to a workgroup peer.

on command prompt, type: 'control userpasswords2' Goto Advanced, Manage Passwords. Type the server name you want to access. Then PCname\Username. Then Password.
Click OK

Now when you try to access the pc from this system, you will be prompted for username/password. Give the one you created on 2nd pc.
