I have an IIS server 4.0 on an NT member server that is configured with Frontpageserver extensions to allow various people on our network to look after their specific web site. Users will connect to the web server via frontpage 2K where they are asked to login. One of my users phoned me up the other day to let me know that when she attempted to logon, she noticed here username/password were filled in with the credentials of another user that is allowed access to the NT Server. In effect, whewas able to logon as this user. Basically her machine somehow picked up the username/password of another user on the network. Just to note, this other user has never used the machine in question to access the frontpage web server. Does anyone have any suggestion on why this has happened and how I may prevent it from happening again.
