Logon problem

I have WinXP and Win 2000 networked.I can't log on to WinXP from Win2000.Warning says " Logon failure:the user has not been granted the reuested logon type at this computer."
Please let me know what must I do in order to logon.

You must have the exact same workgroup on both computers, case sensitive I believe.
And you must have your w2k user set up on the xp as a user with a password, the same user and password as you have on the w2k.

Make sure on the XP system that the user account you are using to try to logon with is included in local security policy, user rights assignment, 'access this computer from the network.'

Do you have anything "Shared" on the XP Box?

If not it will effectively be invisible to any attempted network connection but may still allow an Internet connection which you didn't mention.
