    Logon Problems After a Reboot

    Locked

    by testa.m ·

I am running NT 4.0 with SP 6 on a BDC. When I reboot my BDC and then try to logon as soon as the machine comes up, I am unable to logon. If I wait for a few minutes I can logon with no problem. Any Ideas?

While the machine is booting up the services are starting up, depending on what is loaded on the DC if could take from a couple seconds to a couple minutes for the Net Logon service to start

      The network services haven’t finished
starting up when you see the prompt to hit
CTRL + ALT + DEL. The services are set to
start automatically at startup, but there are
a lot of services that need to be started up
at that time. Odds are, yourmachine is
still finalizing the startup of those services.

      This is a normal.

You would see this really apparent with an
      older slower machine.

hope this sets aside your concern.

well you have to check how busy or the load of the server, their are things like you applications on that server, the connectivity with other server try to check the loading their might be a way to make it more faster to response try to see if you could increase virtual memory or the memory itself it has something to do with its capasity, configuration and loading you have to see the best config. and loading to run it well….
