logon script

I am not too familiar with logon scripts and need to create one for the following purpose: I need users who have Win 98 laptops to have an identical copy of network folder on their local machine. I need the script to copy everything from the localcopy of the folder to the network folder and vice versa every time they log on.
Also, does anyone know of a good FREE resource on the web for writing scripts? Thanks!
