    Logon To Different Domain

    Locked

    by teo ·

There is two domains, sometimes I am logon to domian A and sometimes to domian B. If I want to logon to domain B, I have to change the setting at the network setting. Is there a way to pre-configure the setting for the two domains and probably usingprofile or other way to logon ? I am using windows 98

    Thank you

You can only be logged in to one domain at a time. This may change with Active Directory, I’m not sure. To get around this, you can establish trusts between Domain A and Domain B. This way you can be logged into one domain, but use the services of the other domain. If you’re simply accessing files on a computer in another domain, you can simply map a drive to that computer. It will ask you to log in to establish the connection. This alternative does not require trusts to be established.

      Hopethat helps.

We use a trust. And if both domains have the same login and password for your account, you will be authenticated on both domains when you log in.This works well and prevents you from having to remember the other password.

      Good Luck
