logon.scr initialiazation failure

I’m running Win NT sp 6 and everytime i try to login at the screen saver password i get the error “logon.scr initialisation failed ; unable to load user32.dll” i can simply say ‘ok’ to this msg and login without a porb. but would like to get to the bottom of it.
