logout for SSL

by Rogge In reply to logout for SSL

Hi,

Users don?t login with SSL. It is used to create an encrypted way for the server and the clients to communicate.

My guess is that your users log in to your website when they connect to it. If you want to have a real login and logout you should not set it in the web server but let the users login in the first page to get any further. Then in the following pages you must include some way to let users logout. Check out hotmail?s system for how to handle login and logout. Hotmail is onlyusing SSL for hiding user names and password during login but the system is the same. You can easily create some asp-pages for handling this thing. All you need then is some connection to what you are letting your users log in to.

Good Luck!
