IS it a way to launch a program (like a script) at LOGOUT time ?

LOGOUT Windows 98

You could try logging out of windows using a batch file, instead of using Start -Shutdown command. Then call the script before issuing the shutdown command within the batch file.

See Microsoft Knowledge Base Article Q234216 for the creation of the batch file.

Hope this helps,
Gary
