Hello, here is a brief history on my situation.
I graduated HS in early ’06, started college at ITT Tech in September ’06. Shortly after I got a job as an internal General IT Assistant.
Over the course of time my job took priority over my school, so I withdrawn from a lot of classes. Unaware to me these classes went against my completion rate, and I was dropped from school with a GPA of 3.9.
So now I am trying to convince myself that it is not the end of the world and have a few options.
I can continue to work and gather experience, in the meantime get my certifications. Maybe go back to school for my degree.
Or I can continue to work and take online classes.
What would you recommend? Are degrees worth more than certs? Is an online degree worth more than a traditional college degree? Am I limited if I just go with experience and certifications?
