I am looking for an administrative utility that will do the following for me under Win2K Pro:
– Track changes made to the system when installing new apps (what files were copied where, changes to the registry, etc.)
– Move DLLs (etc.) for said apps out of WINNT\SYSTEM and WINNT\SYSTEM32 and into the app’s homedir
– Add “.local” to the app (to reflect the moving of the DLLs)
– Make changes to the registry to reflect the moving of the afore mentioned files (DLLs, etc.)
Is there such a utility?
