Looking for creative software

Hello-I am looking for Mac software for creative writing- i.e. making lyric pages with some artistic effects ( kind of like digital scrapbooking I suppose) but text centered rather than photos- I want to print pages and make a book I can add pages to over time. Photoshop was beyond my abilities by the way – so not that complicated- any suggestions?

Why isn’t a word processor an option since you can put centered text on pages and add pages over time?
