Looking for input on MAC setup

By Tig2 ·
When the HP I bought last year started dying by degrees and I discovered that HP would not support it, I made a decision to walk away from the Windows and go Mac. I have used them in the past, starting around System 7 and so on to OS X. But not recently.

I have some good books and a computer connected to the internet but was wondering if there are any Mac users out there who were willing to share their Mac experiences. The current installation on this MacBook Pro is Tiger but I have the Leopard upgrade as well.

Once I have the Mac set up, I will decide if I am going to BootCamp it to run XP or not.

I know there are Mac users out there, let me hear from you!

Allow me to be the first . . . 'Imposter'

by OldER Mycroft In reply to Looking for input on MAC ...

I'm sitting looking at MAC OS X.

Current visual installation is Tiger.

However, it's an AMD powered laptop, runnning XP Pro.

But it DOES LOOK NICE !!!

Just like a MAC.

XP Pro, I might have stayed in Windows world. I wasn't going to buy Vista. Period.

I need to go dust off my Unix books...
