Looking for where the string following '_restore{' can be read

By Michael2k_10 ·
Hello, I don't do this often, only when I've done a lot of searching and haven't come up with much. I'm somewhat fluent in BASIC programming and am OK with DOS and .Bat files, and I'd be interested in knowing if there's a file where that LONG string consisting of letters, numbers and dashes that appears just after the '_restore{' in the \System Volume Information\ folder. It's different for each drive, and I'd like to write a program using BASIC in conjunction with a .BAT file to create an automated manual system restore. I can handle the inputs for the user account and RPxx folder names, but if I had to type the restore folder number into the input as well, then it would take longer to do that than it would to move and rename the files manually without a program. Thanks in advance for any light shed on the subject...,

Michael
