Losing dirve shares after rebooting.

By Steve Penn ·
I'm running Terminal Server (SP6a) on a Dell Poweredge 4300. I have a problem. Whenever I reboot the server, all the drives that I've shared out lose thier shares apart from the 'C' drive. How can I stop this from happening?

When you map a drive/share you need to select the check box "Reconnect at Logon." If that doesn't fix the problem. Make a logon script which calls the NET USE commands. To see NET USE options go to a command window and type NET USE /?

Unfortunately this doesn't help beacause they are not mapped drives. They are the servers c,d,e&f drives. But thanks anyway.

I have now found that using the policy editor|local computer|Windows NT Network|Sharing - highlighting the box "create hidden shares (server)" will make all hidden server shares remain shared when the system is rebooted.
