Lost Administrator Account

by rjpadua . Updated 15 years, 5 months ago

Previously my computer was running on one account, which was the administrator account. In this administrator account, we did not have any password to login to Windows. However, because of my little sister, she decided to add her own account. Not knowing what the change would do to the operating system, she continued on adding her user. Unfortunately, when she added her user, we lost our admin account. We have one user that does not use any password in the login page which has a limited account.

The Problem?

Only one user with limited access to everything.

No administator account!

Created no user and password for administrator account so there is no way to login using the Ctrl+Alt+Delete 2x in the login Page

I can’t add addition users because the account we have available is a limited account.

Question?

Is there anyway I could recover the admin?

What of methods can I try to access a missing administrator account that has no user or password!

*Because there’s only one user, it does not automatically make that user the admin.

*Using F8 on boot up does not work for my system either (There is no safe mode on this system) weird.

Please help me bring back the admin account.

Thanks
Raffy J.
