Lost Cd-Rom

Hi

I was trying to install a different cd-rom driver and i said that it my not work correctly and when i restarted the computer it deleted the whole cd-rom and i cant reinstall the driver off the windows 98 disk becuase theres no drivers for the cd-rom. I dont know what to do now. Someone help me please.
