I have two cdroms on my system, one SCSI, one IDE. After attempting to load Adaptec Direct CD software the system crashed and I had to run the repair option from the win 2000 cd. Now neither cdrom shows up under MY Computer but they are detected by 2000. I get the following message in Device manager
“This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)”
