Lost connections to Win2K server

Would anybody know why all my iMacs but not
any of the older generation macs(before iMac)
lose their network connections after about 3
hours. Its not the default time limit causing
this as it has been changed. Could it be Open
Transport? Any ideas I might be able to run
down would be appreciated.
