Lost dual boot, cant run win2000

by cane.csk . Updated 23 years, 10 months ago

Until yesterday I had dual boot win 98 and 2000 on my PC. The dual boot was established during instalation of win2k.
Because of suspicious behaviour of win98 I thought it was virus, so used win98 startup disk and boot PC, than formated primary partition c. After reinstaling win98 work good, but I have lost dual boot.
Now, if I use win2k cd I can use recovery console and come to logical partition f in extended partition, and when I type administration password I can access help and dir, but I dont know how to repair dual boot or to start win2k.
The structure of harddrive is:
c: fat32,primary partition,win98, boot ok.
d: fat32,extended logical, data
e: fat32,extended logical, data
f: ntfs, extended logical, win2k, cant boot, all data on partition seems to be good, but maybe MBR on primary partition dont know for presence of boot sector on f.
