Lost floppy after SP6a install

I updated ny HP E60 server from NT 4 SP4 to NT 4 SP 6a. Everything seemed to go fine. After all was done I tried to read a floppy and got the message “A:\ is not accessible. The parameter is incorrect” What is this parameter and how do I fix this? Didn’t see any reference to this problem on MS’s KB. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
