I had a personal folder in My Shortcuts in which I saved all my emails. Outlook 2002 somehow lost it, deleted, corrupted or whatever. When I click on the folder now in Outlook I get “Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Outlook could not access the specified folder location.” error message and can?t open the folder.
When I right click on the folder and click Properties I receive the following error ?Unable to display folder properties. The folder may have been deleted or the server on which the folder is stored is unavailable.?
Any suggestion on how to repair/restore the folder or do I have to kiss it and all my saved messages good by and write them off as another stuff up by Microsoft. I tried searching Microsoft site without success. I reinstalled Outlook but that didn’t help. I am running Windows XP, Office XP, Outlook 2002.
