My son moved in with me,to make it short -We were gofor a few days, I should have but didn’t, put controls on. Anywayhe put and went everywhere, now I have Active desktop HTML File missing think when I deleted all he put on that was one of the things by mistake I took off. Also I have Norton Internet Securities, and have been recieving ECHO Request (8) high alert of course I do Block But It is very anoying every 20 secs. getting that I did just set-up a new firewall rule and also am monitoring all attacks. (and I am under attack)Alot of Trojen Horses, also should I see if Symantic can help? Also I called gateway the said I have to run zeros, I have never downloaded to disks so to save what I have lost in the past I will learn that this weekend, But do I really have to run zeros? Also on aol 8.0 they have a new thing to check your PC for problemsall it says I need 256MB of Ram. This is only two years and three months old, ran zeros 2 times, One because of an aol tech, I have lost everything 2 times.That seems to extreme to me.I have a gateway 1200 with ME 20 hard drive (used 4.79)Can anybody help or should I take it to gateway. Most of my warranty is gone I still have some This is my first PC, also should I upgrade to xp? Everyone I know who has it loves it better than ME, but this is all I know I was in an accident a few yew years ago and now I can’t work so I got this PC to learn.
