I set my Asus mobo (P4P800 Deluxe) and two SATA drives up as a RAID configuration using the onboard Intel RAID set up. Using this method required the installation of a Intel(R) Application Accelerator driver as an F6 install with the OS (XP Pro). Unfortunately, the mobo BIOS was re-set to its defaults and this disengaged the RAID configuration. Both drives are now visible as single drives, no data was lost and the IAA(R) icon is still in the program list, although it can’t detect the driver. I think I can re-install the driver by F6ing during a Windows XP repair but, will it try to remount the RAID and re-format the HDDs or could I disconnect one drive while doing this re-install? Will I lose any data on the HDDs? Thanks
