In performing the reduction of the agp aperature, I seem to have done something I was not suppose to. The only hting I thought I changed was the apreature size, but when I went to use my D drive which is my cd-rom drive, it had disappeared from where it is located on My Computer. There was no D: drive listed.
I went on the web, but no real help developed.
start>settings>control panel>system.
Under the Device Manager tab I found the following.
When viewed under View Devices by Connection I found the folowing.
1. VIA BUS Master PCI IDE controller under it
a. Primary IDE controller [duo fifo] with a
Yellow dot and ! on it.
When viewing it under the Device by Type I found the following.
1. Hardware, under it
a. Primary IDE controller [duo fifo] with
Yellow dot and ! on it under it i found
b. VIA BUS Master PCI IDE controller with
nothing on it.
How do I get My cd-rom drive D back?
