Lost of Folder Option

Dear Sir/Madam,

My “folder options…” in Tools menu has disappeared. How do i restore in back. I am not able to make any changes to the properties of the folders. And all my folders in the D: are invisible.
Any suggestions how to set it right????
Is it because of some virus/adawre/spyware in the system????

Please give me your valuable suggestion to rectify the above cited Problem.
