Lost Partition Seagate Barracuda 7200.7

Hello all, I just deleted alot of large files on my Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 160Gb then tried to do a defrag and it locked UP 🙁 so now I boot into windows and see the drive but it request that I formatted it before I use it so I know the partition table is messed up but I really want to do this right so I dont lose any data I use a free download handy recover and it could see my files but they were not in order so I was not confindent in that program so I didnt purchase it can someone tell me a program that will work and that is really user friendly I have the access to partition magic version 7 and Acronis disk editor so if anyone can point me in the right direction help
