Lost Photos

Probably a silly question, but a friend of mine managed to put some wedding photos in clip art instead of in a folder. She seems to have lost the photos and now cannot view them other than as thumbnails in clip art manager. I have tried every way I know of trying to trace the photos, and the thumbnails. Is there any way I can locate the thumbnails and use them at least to print out the photos so that she has some memories of the occasion?
