lost poetry, starting with a helicopter

That beetle with the whirling claw
Which grips the wind’s invisible hair
And cancels Newton’s law.

I read that more than 50 years ago in a magazine article entitled “Poet in the Market Place” or the like. I think the poet’s name was A. M. Sullivan; perhaps he lived in New York. Google is no help. Have any of you a pointer for me?
