lost product key for 2000 pro

I know this is probably as simple as 1,2,3,But does any one know how to retrive the product key for 2000 pro from the registry. I can find the oem conversion. This is no help, my key went out in the trash. 2000 pro is not like 95,98,or me. both numbers are found togeather in the registry.
