Lost Profile Files

Hello,

I’ve got a user running WinXP Pro… infrequently, but intermittently, she loses all the information stored in her profile (my documents, desktop icons, etc). Even stranger is that her display settings, password, etc are retained every time. Only the files and folders that she created are removed.

I’ve since been going in weekly for her to back up My Documents onto a CD, but does anybody have any idea why this is happening? She’s on a stand alone machine, and I’ve run NAV (no viruses btw), and disk cleanup.

Any ideas?
