Lost Windows Firewall from the control panel

Have had a virus that disabled the firewall and it could not be reactivated, no matter what was tried. I did find a fix (on the web) but have lost it somewhere, it was either a reg patch or a cmd. that reset the thing.
So was wondering if anyone has any ideas, btw nothing that has been posted here b4 is the answer .
