I am running Lotus Domino from a file server in WINNT based LAN. Within the LAN there is a proxy server which i am connected to a Local ISP.
From the Lotus Domino server emails are routed through the Proxy to the ISP. I can browse the internet from both Machines proberly and the and receive mails including Lotus mails.
But unable to send out.
The error which Lotus notes reports is:
Router: Failed to Connect to SMTP host SMTPOUT.SWIFTKENYA.COM because server not responding.
In addition the Domino Server machine cannot ping out i.e. to external machine. But i am able to Ping from the Proxy server.
swiftkenya.com is my ISP. Where i have confirm with them that their server is working well.
What might have happened in my domino server?. Please assist. Thanks
