At work we have a lot of users that are set up to use Lotus Notes ver 6.5.4 for accessing databases but NOT for mail.
for some of the users that do have mail access to lotus Notes, there data files and .ini file are on there personal drive on a server so when they use Notes they can access there notes configuration from any PC.
I want to know how we can set up the other users for this as seamlessly as possible.
Basically we do not want to have the users to have to go through another set up process.
We can access there notes ID’s and place them on their network drives, set the links on there desktop to the point to the network. but in testing they still have to go through a basic set up when notes is launched for the first time using the ini file on the server.
I think this is because the bookmark and names.nsf files are not from there C: drive.
Is this correct?
