    Lotus Notes Application view

    Locked

    by emcclaimsguy ·

My company is looking to retire Lotus notes. We have already migrated away from the email platform, but we have many applications developed using Lotus Notes that require the Lotus notes client and Domino environment to view. I am looking for a way to migrate the Notes applications out of the database and view them offline. I am not looking for a NSF email viewer/converter (which there seem to be many software solutions out there to address) I need to be able to view the NSF “Applications” that were developed in Lotus notes.

You’ll have to get your programming staff to build replacement apps. I have yet to find any easy solution for what you are asking for.

It’s not about “viewing” the application. It’s about building a replacement.

If you can’t find a tool that does a translation (like a tool that migrates Cobol to Java) just start coding yourself. Don’t forget to migrate the database also, if there is any data involved.
