Lotus Notes Server 5.7

I am having a problem when doing a backup of the Lotus Notes files the server hangs and then the Notes Domino server shutsdown. I have open file manager 7.0 from St.Bernard running on the server.
I have both Norton Anti-Virus 7.5 corporate edition and Anti-Virus for notes running. Any Suggestions?
