Low disk space caused by Terminal Services

By brett ·
I have just installed windows 2003 on a new Fujitsu Server with two 36GB SCSI that are mirrored. Drive C is partitioned to 8GB in size for the programs and drive D is partitioned to 26GB in size for the profiles and data. Drive C has only 3.5GB of programs installed, however it reads that only 200MB of space is avaliable. When I manually search the drive I cannot find 7GB of data at all, it is like the other 3.5GB has just disappeared. Please help.

2. attatch one hard drive at a time and check property of disk.

do you have enough free hd space on your D drive to move the windows swap file over to it to see if that is what is taking up room. also, i believe the updates go into a hidden folder on the system drive and take up a lot of room also. hmm. i'd better set a low disk warning on my drive...

Thank you, I should have seen it myself, the page file was set to a minimum and maximum of 3072MB, which was taking up all the space, I reallocated it to D drive and free up enough space

You might want to check to see if you have "show hidden files and folders" option selected in the folder options under the view tab.

Maybe the files will show up after you enable this.
