The bios of many 486 boards had a low lwvwl format option. I haven’t seen this lately, but i have many knackered hard disks of about 1 – 3 GB, which could perform a useful function, but they all have a problem with fdisk or DOS format or bad track zero. Manufacturers wont supply it as they would rather you buy a new one. Where can I get this?
