m/b for AMD Dual Core

By Daz'n'Ash ·
What model motherboard would be best suitable for an AMD Dual Core 4200+ CPU? I prefer either MSI or FoxConn. I might consider GigaByte brand also. I need AGP slot to be on the board as I don't care to go for a PCIex just yet, my current VGA is still quite new.

AGP on a Dual Core AMD M'Board why are you wasting your time and money?

What you save momentarily in the cost of a replacement Video Card will be more than eaten up with the loss of performance that is being inflicted on the computer. I very much doubt that you'll be able to find a decent M'Board with the requested configuration as by the very nature of the Beast you are asking for Old Technology to run a New Technology CPU. Why would anyone want to try this?

As for M'Board makers if you want to stay with the Cream of the Crop you have the Choice of Gigabyte, ABit or ASUS every FoxConn M'Board that I've ever seen has been a return UG and most of the MSI M'Boards had dies taking the CPU with them to Silicon Heaven.
